Electrical Lineworker With Pintle Hook Restriction, TCC

Applications are now open for the Electrical Lineworker programs, anticipated to launch in Fall [Express] 2025.

The Electrical Lineworker with Pintle Hook Restriction certificate program provides students with the necessary knowledge and skill to gain employment as an entry-level lineworker with electrical utility companies, both public and private. Upon successful completion of this program, students meet the federal requirements to test for their Class A license with Pintle Hook Restriction. Topics include fundamentals of commercial driving, CDL road and range driving, lineworker organization principles, general electrical safety, basic electric fundamentals, lineman simulations, observation-based instruction, interview skills, problem solving, work ethics, and communication skills.

This program qualifies for the HOPE Career Grant.
