Nursing Technician, TCC

This program is reserved for students wishing to submit a competitive application to the Nursing Degree program.

The Nursing Technician technical certificate of credit (TCC) prepares students with advanced classroom training and practice to prepare students to perform a full range of patient care duties or services under nursing or medical direction. This includes taking vital signs, obtaining lab specimens, assisting with activities of daily living, observing and charting patient information, and reporting appropriate information to supervisors. Upon completion students qualify to sit for the NACES exam.

This program qualifies for the HOPE Career Grant.
