The Associate of Science degree in General Studies prepares students to pursue a four-year degree or for careers in multiple fields of studies. Graduates develop academic and professional knowledge and skills necessary to succeed in the profession of their choice or to further their education at a four-year university. 

Admission Requirements:

Curriculum Outline (60 Hours)


General Core Courses


Area I - Language Arts/Communication


Area II - Social/Behavior Science


And Choose ONE of the Following


And Choose TWO from ECON, HIST, PSYC, or SOCI


Area III - Natural Sciences/Mathematics


  • MATH 11xx - Degree-Level MATH Credits: 3

And Choose ONE from BIOL, CHEM, MATH, or PHYS


If selecting BIOL, CHEM, or PHYS will also have to complete LAB
