Description: This course introduces the student to automotive engine theory and repair, placing emphasis on inspection, testing, and diagnostic techniques for both 2 cycle and 4 cycle internal combustion engines. Topics include general engine diagnosis; removal and reinstallation; cylinder heads and valve trains diagnosis and repair; engine blocks assembly diagnosis and repair; lubrication and cooling systems diagnosis and repair.
